Description
Extracted from the seeds of wild rosehip. The extraction of the product is carried out by the ecological and clean method of extraction with carbon dioxide, which ensures that there is no residual solvent in the product. The CO2 rosehip extract is rich in provitamins A and E, as well as omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. It makes the skin healthy, radiant and helps it to regenerate as fully as possible, making it attractive to the cosmetics industry.
Rosehip oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, linoleic and linolenic acids, which are known to be involved in prostaglandin synthesis, membrane generation, defense mechanisms, growth and other processes related to cell regeneration. Therefore, this oil is very useful for promoting epithelialization.
In addition to its effect on the outermost layers of the skin, rosehip oil also has a strengthening activity on the innermost layers of the skin, fibroblasts and cells that produce collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, which are responsible for the firmness and elasticity of the skin. That is why rosehip seed oil is recommended for the formulation of cosmetic products with astringent effect on the deep layers of the skin.
Rosehip seed oil has also shown a beneficial effect on aging skin. Exposure to sunlight leads to important morphological changes in the skin (photoaging, dermatoheliosis).
Dermatoheliosis occurs in different ways and with different intensity, from superficial wrinkles or active keratosis to variations in the distribution of melanin granules. Rosehip seed oil is recommended to prevent and correct photoaging and skin disorders associated with sunlight, as well as to reduce skin blemishes.
